Allison B. Rosenberg is Senior Counsel in the Real Estate Department at Sklar Kirsh. A highly-skilled commercial real estate attorney in practice for more than 20 years, Allison is experienced in complex transactions and financings across the full spectrum of industry sectors. She represents developers, real estate investors and operators in acquisitions, dispositions, leasing and joint ventures in all forms of commercial, hospitality, industrial, mixed-use and multi-family residential real estate throughout the United States, Japan, London and the Caribbean. She works with developers and major investment banks, institutional lenders, borrowers and investors in negotiating and closing mortgage, mezzanine, preferred equity, construction, condominium conversion, hotel and subscription and warehouse financings. Allison also negotiates the sale of air rights and zoning lot development agreements, completes 1031 exchanges for clients and has extensive experience with general corporate and contractual matters and has acted as general corporate and real estate outside counsel for companies and law practices on various matters.
Born and raised in Iowa, Allison earned her joint B.A. and M.A. in Linguistics from Northwestern University, where she was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa during her junior year, and her joint J.D. and L.L.M. in International and Comparative Law from Duke University School of Law. After law school, Allison worked with several large law firms in New York and Tokyo, Japan, including Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP, Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP and as a Shareholder at Greenberg Traurig, LLP.
